Trend following was called dead many time in last decades. Always came back from the dead with vengeance dwarfing all other types of trading. 2 years is nothing for long term trend following.
I never blew up any account because from the beginning I did not risk more than 1% on the trade with hard stop. I wasn't chasing unrealistic big returns. I tried to become rich slowly.
