Can somone give me one legit reason to why you should not be short VXX?

Thanks! I didnt even realize they dont have options on VXV. Good thing its only one of us that has the head up in the a**. Since I do not do this types of trades often I do not have a futures account and that would probably be the easiest way, I usually only create a synthetic position. Thanks...

I have been looking in to the spread between VIX and VXV for a time now. Does anyone do this and what type of strategies do you use to generate profit between these two indexes?

TD is probably the best demo you will find, otherwise I am pretty sure if you go to CBOE you can get a live account with trademonster without having to actually open up an account. personally i think saxobank in general sucks.. And then when you start trading for real you should go with IB and...

Bought a really cheap spx straddle the other day.

After FB reported earnings the stock as well as IV tanked. I am considering a bullish ratio spread or maybe just a call spread since I believe that the stock will go up to its previous highs and IV to increase. The December ATM options seems pretty cheap to me. What do you guys think?

Its nothing wrong with what you say if you have never traded option before... I understand what you are trying to say, however, if you understood the option pricing model you would look at it alot differently. Go to amazon and buy this book, also, open up a paper trading account with TOS...

I have never heard of an options trader who does not understand the greeks...
