    Historical additions and deletions in the index.... Companies are regularly added and deleted from the S&P 500, therefore I can't properly backtest against it without taking into account these changes.

    thanks for the reply, the main reason I dislike SierraCharts is the interface. I just can't be bothered to work my way through it when there are better designed UIs out there...

    PT Multistation is a nightmare, they have good ideas but need a lot of time to mature as a product. Good thing I only payed 1 month subscription :)

    I'm looking for trading software that is: - fast/robust - easy alert entry for multiple symbols at once (like QuoteTracker) - Trendline Alerts - Alerts saved on server and emailed when triggered. - great charting - trading from the chart (like NinjaTrader) Any help is appreciated!
