    China watch list

I wonder how far this ipo will go this year. Got lucky and got in early, then watched it run up to 18 and fall back to 13, lamenting I didn't put a tight stop in. Now I think I'll hold and watch this puppy run for a while..........we'll see.

    China watch list

I check out this site early morning or the night before. It sums up the asian markets. If they're in rally mode, it bodes well for china related stocks. http://www.marketwatch.com/news/globalmarkets/default.asp

Good luck Colorado, I've been checking the hong kong market results before I make a china stock trade. They're usually in sync. My broker is tdameritrade, been with them for years and very satisfied. Tony

Anyone have thoughts on China's boosting their bank reserve ratio and how it might effect their stock market?

    FFHL

With this kind of trade, it makes me reconsider the ease and less stress of regular trading over index futures. I was away at work all day yesterday to come home and discover my biggest gain all year. Decided to hold on and today of course, it dropped about a third of yesterday's gain. Well...

I got in at 10.50 by sheer luck without due diligence. There's alot of excitement about this ipo. The bit question is whether to hold over the weekend for much more upside or liquidate. I think I'll hold most of my shares. Best wishes and happy new year!

    Zen, Yoga, Meditation and Trading

It's refreshing to find this discussion on meditation and awareness among traders. The critics who dismiss it as "new age" etc don't know didley squat. Looking within and working with the mind's thoughts and emotions has been the path of saints and sages for ages. As the Dalai Lama said about...

    Curse of the renegade trade

Dear trader friends, One day in July, I was trading ES when my Pats connection went down and my charts started flatlining. Called my broker who suggested I exit the trade from the desk. It was done, the connection was restored and I was set to go. Later, after the trading day was over I got a...
