all i know about camarilla equation is that it enables one to calculate the next periods resistance and support points from the high,low,close values of a given period...something like the good old pivot points...but it seems this is different...there are four levels higher L1,L2,L3 and L4 above...

no sir , it is not an original idea on my part...it is just one of the methods that I picked up from various sources in my studies on constructing support and resistance zones....the original idea undoubtedly is of W D Gann...this being another one of those interpretations...( like say,whichever...

The way I see it ( ganns wheel) is as an old world method of squareroot extraction...I think the same results can now be computed by say you start with a major bottom, calculate the sqaure root, add 1 and sqaure the sum to get 1st resistance... again add 2 to the square root and square...
