i second the opinion that it's time to short the market. we hits highs in march and it seems like the buying frenzy is petering out now. i don't think we'll see a crash like 2008, but i think the market will decline slowly and steadily within the next few months.

i find that looking at stocks on an individual basis works for me, then i re-calibrate my stock picks every quarter. i've never thought of it this way, but i guess if lots of my strong trading candidates are in the same sector (or vice versa), i could trade the etf, but usually 1 or maybe 2...

i think i was off by about 12 months. lol! looks like the SPY is about to turn bearish very soon.
