IB is having problems executing SPX option spread trades and they didn't bother to put this on the current system status page. Had to phone the help desk to find out, I was basically told to accept delta risk by executing individual legs.:(

Why not integrate all the option tools you currently have, i,e option strategy lab (which is better that the risk navigator but lacks the functionality), risk navigator, probability lab for options & options trader. Or better still, get rid of the outdated risk navigator and use the option...

I have looked at a few Eurodollar Flys recently and most of them appear to be trading at their highs. As I am relatively new to this style of trading can anyone offer an explanation. Is this a greating shorting opportunity or is their something I'm missing. Thanks.

Suntzu, Why do u want to trade outrights, I assume u made money on ur flys, given the risk profile (very little, a significantly reduced margin), surely the returns must have been very decent. Commision intensive ? am I right in thinking that 1 tick covered ur costs, so whats the problem...

Is anybody trading Eurodollar flys. and if so what has been your experience with this strategy. i.e no of tics for profit, avg time for trade to become profitable. Do you normally trade the flys anchored to the front months or middle months. Can you give example. excuse my ignorance...

All you guys seem to know a lot about spreads. Does anyone trade butterflies. If you do can you please give me an example of one and what I should be looking for. Looked around for information regarding spreads on ED, can't find any. Thanks
