For all you clowns that shorted GOOG on

Makes no sense. Price doesn't matter, its ratio to earnings does. Google trades at a 74 Price to earnings ratio right now, and yahoo trades at a 68 price to earnings ratio. I think its reasonable for google to be trading higher because they are growing at a quicker rate. Google's price...

    Trading or Investment Banking

I graduated from Seton Hall University three years ago with an accounting degree, I wish I knew now what you know as a freshman. If I could do it all over I would major in finance and try my best to get an internship at GS, MS, or ML even a hedge fund if they have internships, Graduate and...

    I like Cramer...

You sat down and traded with him before? I assume that would be the only way you know he is a bad trader.

Poll: What step are you on right now?

Started trading at #15 (knew there needed to be a methodology to this in order to make money). Currently I'm at #25 and having a hard time getting out of it. Trading for 6 months currently.

The king of real estate's cashing out

you do realize that 21% a year for the past 15 years would result in a 2,555% overall return right? That surely beats the 400% # you're coming up with.

    An Accountant's Journal

Fridays are usually terrible for me. My setup was good to trade today so I only shorted 300 shares of VC for 7.94 at the close yesterday. Covered today at 7.8399 for a 1.26% gain. Here's how I look so far on the month: Gross Revenue: $416.75 Interest Income: $-...

$420,000 for each of Goldman's 22,000 workers worldwide

Too bad they don't actually give 420k to each employee instead 80% of that money goes to the top 10% earners in the company. It's different at all companies so how do I know but I doubt a staff level at 60k/year will take in a 420k bonus.

Is trading Gambling or not .."What say You" Vote here.

So then I guess playing poker is not gambling because its a game of skill, in which case the player can control the amount they lay out on the table, fold when its not looking good and put their money out when the outcome looks favorable? Blackjack is not considered gambling then because you...

Calling the beginning at the end...how newbies make market calls.

Read your own posts. You seem to think you know everything. But its all nonesense. What the markets (I talk stocks) do is more a result of human emotions than how well the companies are doing, therefore no one can determine what the markets will do. That's why predictions are worthless...

    An Accountant's Journal

First trade since last week. Sold short 1200 shares of VC at the close yesterday for 7.87. I missed the huge drop it had today down to 7.61 and now I'm still holding while its treading at 8, hopefully my stop doesn't kick in and this thing goes down today. I'll update once I cover or hold...
