Unusual 1-minute bar on QQQ 9-2-11
Maybe a dumb rookie question but I'll ask anyway. On Friday 9-2-11, QQQ traded in a fairly narrow range except for one bar @ 9:39 AM. This bar opened at 53.43, went up to 54.61 and closed at 53.42. Any ideas what would cause this, and would it trigger any open orders above the market? Any... -

Aircards for wireless trading
Has anyone had good results using aircards(as opposed to being at an internet cafe) for short-term daytrading? I am wondering about connectivity to streaming data and fast execution. Any advice would be very useful. thanks -

How complex a conditional order can a retail broker handle?
Are there retail brokers who can handle a conditional order to sell half your position for partial profits and then move your stop to breakeven? I'm thinking specifically of NYSE stocks. I understand you can do this on platforms such as Tradestation but at this point I don't have the time to...
