Anyone have positive results using Trade Ideas streaming alerts?

Funk (et al): It appears to me that the downloadable, PC-based T-I version is the way to go--nicer layout. However, how is it on CPU loading and Internet bandwidth hogging? When PC-based, does your PC do all of the filtering/screening/crunching instead of the website? Thanks :)

    IB Denies Problem with Quotes

Freezes, crossed quotes, logouts, slow quotes. One time, while the quotes were mucked, my stop loss didn't trigger, so I panicked and placed a market order. It took 2 minutes to fill, 61¢ below my initial stop loss. IB doesn't readily acknowledge the probs. It's as tho they are told not...

    Scottrader Elite

Orion: I use IB for day trading and Scottrade for intermediate trading. You are in no way on a level playing field when day trading IB vs. Scottrade. >IB is direct access to the ECN's; ST trades/clears thru Night securities, a major market maker. >IB's executions...

    I Love Interactive Brokers

Good positive remarks and wish list--I agree (never thought about #3--good one). My wishlist consists of one item, and to me it's a BIGGIE: >> PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH RELIABLE REAL-TIME QUOTES. << I know I'm not the only one experiencing this, based on conferring posts. I know the...

    MS Pop-ups

Pop-up stopper. It's free and it works.:D http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/pow.htm You have to "train" it--tell it which ones you never want to see again, but since the pop-ups are often from the same folks (X-10 Cam sound familiar?), it's pretty effective.
