The strange case of Japan and Covid-19

Only 0.4% less, but that's still in-the-money. BCG: early strain - the more powerful one. Not seen much science on that yet though. And no doubt eating very well virtually every single meal for 40 years of your life makes you more resilient to illness. Data across many Asian countries is...

The strange case of Japan and Covid-19

Your last sentence is correct. Looking away. But how does low test numbers reduce deaths? Test numbers are meaningless if people are not dying. And they are not dying. 800, in 4 months. Did you know that every suspected Covid death in Japan gets a chest CAT scan, and if pneumonia is detected...

The strange case of Japan and Covid-19

The article from April is hilarious. The press have to make every headline bad about the virus. They shoot at every shadow they see, and in some cases they get it totally wrong. But that doesn't matter, they achieved their goal and move on. The second article is more accurate: for what ever...

    COVID-19 : NHK no-BS Chronicle

The west have a habit of making that mistake. England is more like Germany, than Korea or China are like Japan. Yet seldom do people group E and G together. But the big thing is, Japan has done virtually nothing intentional to contain the virus. Trust me. Japan is very very slow to the...

The strange case of Japan and Covid-19

This is the big data point that stands out. Japan's hospitals simply are not full with dying like in Italy, yet Japan had wuhan flu in-country well before Italy (and Spain, and NY.) And Japan didn't really install any meaningful preventative measures. Yet, virtually no one has died. There has...

Out Today Market Making Scalping Manual

It isn't a book. It is apparently only the equivalent of a 55 page pdf. In a way that is encouraging, as most books are padded with fluff anyway.

Jesus = socialist. God = authoritarian dictator. Both = anti-freedom.

Anyone using the huge curved monitors?

32 in portrait is an appealing option for sure. But I like to have any screen space above my eye line tilted downwards, and large monitors in portrait don't allow that. But I am very close to your thinking otherwise. My very first job had these mini monochrome monitors. Actually looked (minus...

Anyone using the huge curved monitors?

Nah, not at all for me. Smaller panels allow for easier configuration, and they are cheap. I do prefer larger than 24 for space, but when you start getting many 32's in a geometric curve, they are too big to work together. And they cost more for decent resolution. 24 is a good compromise...

Anyone using the huge curved monitors?

They are attractive, these curvey things. But I continue to like the scalable and modular versatility of multiple 24 inch flat panels.
