Nasdaq short rule
What is the exact rule for shorting NASDAQ stocks. I was told by an options marketmaker that there is not a shorting rule for NASDAQ stocks. Ie you can short any bid. I maintain it must be at least an uptick bid or someone buying the offer to short NASDAQ stocks. Maybe we are both... -

Do you use on offer/bid to get out or do you hit/grab the first Offer/Bid above the .06? Im thinking waiting for an offer/bid to come in would be the way to go...would not want to show hand or let specialist lean or front run your resting orders -
